According to this theory, the world of One piece is literally turned on its side because at some point in the past the Earth’s axis shifted 90 degrees and the North and South Poles shifted positions. This would not only tie together an incredible number of mysteries in the series, but also reveal the location of the final treasure. According to this theory, the shift in the poles caused catastrophic changes, including a reversal of ocean currents.
